WHO ARE WE?
Let’s be honest, these sections are always a little weird. You don’t really need to know our favorite coffee order or how we got into photography by borrowing a film camera from Alex’s grandfather in 2010 (even though that is kind of true).
What you do need to know is this:
We’re a husband-and-wife team who care deeply about people, light, and storytelling. We believe the quiet, in-between moments matter just as much as the big ones. And we’re really, really good at making people feel like themselves in front of the camera.
We know what it’s like to lose someone and think,
“Wow. I can’t believe I don’t have a single photo with him. I miss him so much.”
Kalene learned the deep responsibility of a photographer the hard way: when her sister’s wedding was captured by a “friend of a friend”. . . and every roll came out blank.
An entire wedding. . . gone. Lost to memory.
She vowed never to let that happen to herself. — or anyone else.
And we carry that promise into every session, every frame, every backup hard drive.
We don’t do stiff poses or fake smiles. We document what’s real: the soft glances, the loud laughs, the fleeting magic that makes up your story.
And yes, we’ll absolutely cry at your vows.

Who will be photographing my session?
We’re a husband-and-wife team — both photographers, both artists. Depending on your session, you may work with one or both of us. Either way, you’ll get our shared vision, attention to detail, and easygoing energy.

How do I book a session?
Just head over to our Contact page and fill out the inquiry form. We’ll reach out with availability, answer any questions, and help you choose the right package for your needs.
Do you travel for sessions or weddings?
Absolutely. Whether it’s a quiet coast, a desert elopement, or your own backyard — we’re always up for the journey. Travel fees will be baked into the overall package cost, but we’ll go over everything with transparency before you book.
Do you offer payment plans?
We understand that life happens. For weddings and larger sessions, we offer flexible payment plans — just ask when booking.
Wait. Why does this cost so much??
We get this one a lot — and it’s a fair question.
Photography is more than just showing up and clicking a button. We spend hours (and hours) behind the scenes: planning, prepping, shooting, culling, editing, exporting, organizing galleries, and backing everything up to make sure your memories are safe and beautiful.
Could your uncle take a few iPhone pics at your wedding? Sure. But would he know how to work with golden-hour light, frame a first look, catch the moment your mom cries during vows, and then hand-edit each image so it glows for generations? Probably not.
We pour ourselves into this work because your memories deserve more than “good enough.” They deserve to feel like you. Like art. Like something worth holding onto.
Your Experience
What should I wear to my session?
Wear what makes you feel good. For portraits, we recommend soft neutrals or tones that complement your skin tone and environment. If you’d like, we can send a mini style guide to help you prep.
I’m awkward in front of the camera. Can you help?
Absolutely. We don’t expect you to pose like a model — we’ll gently guide you and create a space where you can relax and just be yourself. Most of the magic happens in the in-between moments anyway.
Can I bring my dog?
Listen, we had custom-made suit ties made for our cats at our wedding… Bring all the pets.
Just let us know in advance so we can choose a location that works for everyone (paws included).
Deliverables & Turnaround
How long will it take to receive my photos?
It depends on the size of your session.
For portrait sessions or smaller events, turnaroung is typically 2-4 weeks.
For larger events (like weddings or multi-hour shoots) you can expect about 1-2 weeks of editing time per hour of photography.
We’ll alwaus give you an estimate up front – and keep you updated along the way.
When your photos are ready, you’ll receive a private online gallery where you can view, download, and share every image.
